In Diane’s 25+ years in ambulatory care, she has licensed, accredited or certified over 200 centers across the U.S., including hospital-based, freestanding and office-based centers. She has served as nurse director and administrator for several surgery centers in California, managed her own ASC consulting company and worked for another ASC developer. In her broader 45-year career, she has held many positions, starting as head nurse in labor and delivery. She served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, and was stationed in Viet Nam and Fort Sam in Houston, TX. Outside of healthcare, she has worked in real estate sales.
Diane graduated from the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing and obtained her bachelor of science degree from Chapman University in Orange County, CA. She has been a member of AORN for 29 years; for the San Fernando, CA chapter, she served as secretary for 3 years, then president-elect and president in 2005-2006.
