He has also held business and clinical positions in California institutions including HealthSouth Surgery Center of the Tri-Valley in Pleasanton, Valencia Surgical Center in Santa Clarita, Henry Mayo Newhall Surgery Center in Valencia and Aspen Outpatient Center in Simi Valley. He began his career in healthcare as an operating room nurse at several large tertiary care facilities.
